About the role

We are looking for a Unit Claims Manager-Claims Analysts to join our team! 

This opportunity is a 1 year contract/secondment.

What you'll do here:

  • Supervise, mentor, and develop the team of Quality Analysts and Specialists.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment.
  • Oversee the assessment of claims for compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Review claims decisions for property and auto insurance to ensure accuracy and fairness.
  • Implement and monitor quality assurance programs and standards.
  • Identify trends and areas for improvement in claims processing.
  • Collaborate with the leaders and senior leaders of Claims and other stakeholders.
  • Develop strategies and initiatives to enhance claims quality.
  • Present findings and recommendations to management.
  • Liaise with other departments to address issues related to claims quality.
  • Work with IT and data teams to leverage technology in improving claims processes.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for external audits and reviews
  • Ensure continuous professional development of the team members.

What you bring to the table:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in claims management, ideally with experience in both property and auto claims.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in claims management software and MS Office Suite.
