This program gives students an opportunity to join the actuarial powerhouse of Canada's largest property & casualty insurance provider. Gain hands-on experience and contribute to real-world projects and solutions that help deliver our promise to millions of customers. You'll have the opportunity to:

- Translate model insights into practical rating improvements that support pricing and underwriting decisions
- Review historical loss and exposure experience and conduct actuarial analyses on high-value accounts (including accounts exceeding $1M in size)
- Use best-in-class AI and machine learning methods and technologies to enhance Intact’s rating algorithms
- Evaluate how evolving trends affect IFC policyholders and quantify potential impacts
We'll support you with mentorship and development opportunities from our industry leading experts in the Actuarial field. You'll partner with a dedicated coach throughout the internship who wil support your technical growth and career development, while also enjoying unparalleled access to senior leadership through networking sessions, roundtable lunches, and informal mixer events.

Learn from leading technologists, access the largest data lab of any Canadian insurer, leverage the latest tools and technology and contribute to projects with real-world execution to support Intact's millions of customers.
Opportunities include:
- Contribute to applied data science projects that support the usage-based insurance driving model
- Develop new features that enhance CCL2, the core product used by brokers and underwriters to generate business quotes
- Quality Assurance and test automation work on our Motor Vehicle Report service
- Testing and flow validation for bundle discount service flows

You will help find solutions that can be applied to our millions of customers across Canada.
