About the role
Our growing team is looking for a Team Lead, Actuarial – Commercial Lines System to join us!

The Team Lead role is positioned under the Actuarial Manager of CL system team. It is a great opportunity to get meaningful management experience while staying close to technical/hands-on work.
What you’ll do here:
- Challenge actuarial requirements and recommend adequate solutions for complex problems.
- Manage the evaluation, development and coaching of members of their group to achieve the strategic objectives of the company.
- Coordinate their team’s activities by organizing, planning, and controlling the work.
- Provide technical advice to the members of their group responsible (PEGA implementations).
- Represent the actuarial function/the team in various working groups/committees and act as a point of contact with other business units.
- Participate on project-based tasks as assigned by Manager and/or Director.
What you bring to the table:
- University degree or any combination of equivalent education and experience.
- Job-specific designation: Mathematics, Programming, Actuarial Science an asset.
- Minimum of 5 years including 1 year of coaching (major asset).
- Strong skills and knowledge of actuarial techniques and/or programming.
- Coaching and development of others, foster engagement.
- Lead with vision and values.
- Development of strategic working relationships.
- Delegation of responsibilities.
- Facilitate change.
- Planning and organization.
- Bilingualism (French / English) – Need to interact on a regular basis with colleagues across the country.
