You will conceptualize abstract business models and IT architecture stacks, design predictive financial scenarios, and optimize data flows to support strategic decisions, all while contributing to major transformation projects.

  • Extract, clean, and manipulate data from multiple sources and technologies to answer stakeholder questions.

  • Collaborate with business units to improve processes for reporting, budget review, and operational performance analysis.

  • Build, maintain, and enhance financial models, including monthly forecast tracking and a rolling 3-year projection.

  • Develop cost-benefit analyses, ROI, and DCF models for new projects and services using quantitative methods.

  • Provide financial input and analysis to support the review, negotiation, and monitoring of contractual agreements.

  • Design and automate analytics solutions to support performance measurement and product performance metrics.

  • Validate and integrate new data sources that could benefit internal clients.

  • Strengthen internal controls to safeguard data integrity and completeness.

  • Present analysis results to diverse audiences, adapting communication for technical and non-technical stakeholders.

What you bring to the table:

  • Minimum 5-years of experience in financial analytics and data analysis – is required

  • Advanced proficiency with Excel, SQL, and Power BI – is required

  • Ability to manipulate, clean, and interpret large datasets – is required

  • Strong technical expertise in data modeling, automation, and visualization – is required

  • Post-secondary education in finance, accounting, information systems, or data analytics.

  • CPA designation is an asset (or equivalent experience in financial analysis).

  • Experience reviewing, interpreting, and supporting contractual and vendor agreements from a financial perspective.

  • Experience with data processing tools and programming languages such as Python and R.

  • Ability to conceptualize and model abstract business concepts and IT architecture stacks to support strategic decision-making.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a quantitative and strategic mindset.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
