Salary range (but not limited to):
101,800 - 124,400Annual bonus target, based on the base salary, with a potential payout of up to double the target (subject to personal and company performance):

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.
About the role
Joining our team means playing a key role at the heart of our brokers’ network infrastructure. As a true technical reference, you will help optimize the performance, reliability, and security of the environments while supporting day-to-day operations. You will work across the entire lifecycle of changes and incidents, drive automation to improve efficiency, and contribute to high-impact continuous improvement projects for our brokers.
What you'll do here:
Provide recommendations to improve overall network performance.
Ensure an appropriate level of reliability for technology and operating systems to meet the company’s current and future needs.
Handle change requests (RFCs), service requests, problem resolution, and incidents.
Participate in patch management (configuration changes, migration, etc.) in accordance with current security standards.
Participate in various projects to improve our infrastructure and support business development.
Rigorously maintain team standards to ensure continuity of operations.
Develop, implement, support, and document automation to increase the efficiency of platform management.
Be available for on-call support (rotation).
Document various activities and procedures in accordance with established standards.
Provide high-level technical expertise to support the cloud network stack operations team in all its activities.
Provide technical assistance, training, and mentoring to junior-level engineers and technicians.
Deliver quality customer service internally and externally in line with the company’s values.
Participate in documentation processes, including network diagrams, staff and vendor contact information, and the use of monitoring, asset, and inventory management tools.
Collaborate with managers to establish standards in line with company guidelines and ensure follow-up on those standards.
Assist with escalated issue resolution and actively participate in problem management activities.
What you bring to the table:
At least 5 years of networking experience in cloud environments, Palo Alto firewalls, VPN, DNS, and SDN.
At least 1 year of experience with Terraform, Ansible, and automation.
A degree in computer networking or technology, or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
Customer-service orientation with the ability to project an energetic, professional, and welcoming image.
Ability to meet deadlines and manage sensitive and high-stress situations.
Ability to identify issues and help develop strategy and tactical plans for various departmental initiatives.
Ability to prioritize and organize work effectively.
Expert-level knowledge of network administration, architecture, and engineering in mission-critical environments for large-scale server deployments.
Knowledge of a wide range of networking equipment, including but not limited to routers, switches, firewalls, DDoS mitigation, console servers, and load balancers.
Exceptional analysis, design, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent documentation and communication skills.
Bilingual (French and English): Need to interact on a regular basis with an English-speaking clientele and colleagues across the country.
No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada
