About the role
We’re looking for a Security Advisor - ISAM to join our growing team!
What you'll do here:
Design, implement, and manage security solutions using IBM Security Verify Access.
Configure and maintain web reverse proxies, junctions, and federation for optimal security and performance.
Develop scripts to automate security processes, improve operational efficiency, and ensure compliance.
Utilize Ansible to automate deployment, configuration, and management of security tools and infrastructure.
Work with containerization technologies to deploy services in containerized environments.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security solutions with business processes.
Monitor security systems, analyze potential threats, and respond to security incidents.
Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, vulnerabilities, and technologies.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior security team members.
Participate in support activities with other members of the team
Maintain Intact’s cybersecurity plan and assist in internal investigations of moderate to high levels of complexity.
Review and analyze available information on suspected cases of internal employee fraud and determine the type and scope of investigation required.
Uncover anomalies, investigate advanced cyber events.
What you bring to the table:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or any combination of equivalent education and experience.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in information technology (security).
Proven experience working with IBM Security Verify Access or equivalent technologies.
Strong understanding of web reverse proxies, junctions, and federation protocols.
Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Experience with Ansible for automation and configuration management.
Familiarity with containerization platforms such as Docker or Kubernetes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Strong ethical principles and understanding of business and information security ethics
One of these certifications would be a considerable asset: CISSP, CISA, CISM, CGEIT, CRISC, GSEC, GISP
Positive attitude, team spirit and eagerness to learn
Critical mind
For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English speaking colleagues across the country.
No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
