Salary range (but not limited to):
94,200 - 115,200Annual bonus target, based on the base salary, with a potential payout of up to double the target (subject to personal and company performance):

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.
About the role
We’re looking for a Product Owner to join our Contact Billing Team!
We are seeking a dedicated professional with a strong understanding of agile methodologies and a background in product management to join our dynamic team. Experience with Guidewire BillingCenter is a strong asset for this role. You will play a crucial part in shaping the future of our contact billing products, collaborating closely with business and technical teams to deliver solutions that drive business value.
What you'll do here:
Strategic Product Leadership
Define and champion the product vision and strategy in collaboration with stakeholders
Translate complex billing business requirements into clear, actionable product roadmaps
Ensure alignment between business objectives and technical delivery
Backlog Management & Prioritization
Own and maintain a healthy, well-prioritized backlog that balances business value, technical dependencies, and team capacity
Define epic purposes and collaborate with Business Analysts to establish realistic development timelines
Conduct story mapping and estimation sessions, ensuring stories are clear, detailed, and properly documented in Jira
Communicate backlog priorities and rationale effectively to all stakeholders
Agile Delivery & Sprint Management
Focus on the “why” behind each backlog item, articulating business impact and alignment with product vision
Partner with the Scrum Master to remove impediments and guide the team toward achieving Release and Sprint goals
Actively participate in all Scrum ceremonies (planning, daily standups, reviews, retrospectives)
Lead sprint reviews, evaluating deliverables against acceptance criteria and ensuring quality standards are met
Team Collaboration & Leadership
Inspire and guide the team to deliver high-quality products that meet business objectives
Foster a collaborative environment where team members understand priorities and feel empowered to contribute
Provide clear direction and timely feedback to ensure efficient project execution
Stakeholder Communication
Maintain transparent, proactive communication with stakeholders regarding progress, challenges, and timelines
Facilitate discussions between business and technical teams, ensuring mutual understanding
Collaborate cross-functionally on rollout strategies for new products and features
Coordinate with peer Product Owners on dependencies and shared initiatives
Risk Management & Quality Assurance
Identify and mitigate product quality concerns early in the development cycle
Propose and implement corrective actions when issues arise
Ensure deliverables meet defined acceptance criteria and quality standards
Change Management
Act as a positive change agent, helping teams and stakeholders adapt to new approaches and evolving requirements
Navigate ambiguity with confidence and help others do the same
What you bring to the table:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
5-8 years of product management or product ownership experience.
Experience working in product mode and project mode (an asset)
Insurance background (an asset).
CSPO or Product Owner certification (an asset).
Experience with Guidewire BillingCenter or other insurance billing systems (an asset)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (oral and written).
Planning methodology and relevant experience with proven knowledge of Agile methodology.
Proficiency with Jira, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in cross-functional teams
For candidates in Quebec: Bilingualism (English/French) required for regular collaboration with English-speaking colleagues nationwide.
No Canadian work experience required; however, must be eligible to work in Canada.
Important: Working hours are based on Eastern Time Zone.
