About the role
We're looking for a Procurement Transformation & Process Evolution Specialist to join our growing team!
As a Procurement Transformation & Process Evolution Specialist, you will play a key role in driving innovation and process improvement across our procurement functions. You will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable business and technical plans. Your insights and leadership will be key in implementing technology solutions and leading projects that enhance efficiency and effectiveness in procurement operations.
What you'll do here:
- Lead projects aimed at driving efficiency gains, including technology implementations and process optimizations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and objectives.
- Gather and translate business requirements into clear, actionable technical specifications.
- Map and conduct detailed analysis of procurement processes and data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement and provide recommendation and follow-up on them.
- Utilize data analytics tools and methodologies to derive actionable insights from complex data sets, focusing on enhancing procurement strategies and operations.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and visualizations using Power BI to provide stakeholders with clear insights into procurement performance and trends.
- Present findings and key insights to stakeholders with recommendations for actionable initiatives to improve procurement outcomes leveraging strong PowerBI Expertise.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies and promote innovative procurement practices and tools, particularly in the realm of artificial intelligence.
- Skillfully navigate ambiguity and 'grey areas' by employing creative problem-solving and strategic thinking skills.
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring buy-in and alignment on project goals and changes.
What you bring to the table:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, procurement & supply chain management, data science or a related field.
- Proven experience as a business analyst, data analyst, or operational excellence advisor, preferably in a procurement setting.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive actionable insights from complex data sets.
- Advance PowerPoint skills to craft clear and impactful presentations that effectively communicate data insights and strategic plans.
- Experience in participating in technology implementation projects and process improvement initiatives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Passion for innovation and a proactive approach to driving change and efficiency.
- Proficient in PowerPoint, Advanced Excel, and Visio.
- Familiarity with Oracle, Ariba, PowerBi, and Jira is advantageous.
- For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues and stakeholders across the country.
