About the role

 Our New Grad Tech Development Program is a transformative and exciting opportunity for recent graduates to launch your career by working alongside our team of 3,000 Digital, Data and Tech experts, in either our Cybersecurity or Software Development and Cloud stream.  

You’ll immerse yourself in a dynamic hands-on 24-month rotation program with access to our innovative leaders, to the latest tools and technologies, and have a chance to shape the future of insurance. Our technology products are used by more than two million Canadians to help protect the things they care about most. 

In return, we promise to provide support, an inclusive and collaborative workplace, and an exciting placement on one of our teams at the end of the program.  Each participant will join our vibrant new grad community and will be paired with a mentor for guidance and support. You will also have access to professional development courses and received regular performance reviews and feedback sessions.

Within our Tech Development Program, the Cybersecurity Stream provides recent graduates with a comprehensive understanding of cybersecurity through different rotational assignments. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity beginning in May 2026

What you’ll do here:  

  • Assist in the development and implementation of security policies and procedures  

  • Conduct vulnerability assessments to identify and prioritize system threats 

  • Monitor and analyze network traffic for unusual activity and potential threats 

  • Investigate and respond to security incidents  

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security measures  

  • Participate in threat intelligence gathering and analysis  

  • Implement infrastructure security strategies to safeguard environments 

  • Leverage AI technologies to enhance security insights and decision-making processes 

  • Stay current with emerging cybersecurity threats and trends to strengthen defenses 

What you bring to the table: 

  • Recent or soon-to-be graduate with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, graduating by May 2026 or within the past year 

  • Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills 

  • Adaptability, curiosity, and a commitment to continuous learning 

  • Excellent communication skills with a passion for technology 

  • Self-reliant with a strong sense of responsibility 

  • Understanding of network protocols, firewalls, and security technologies 

  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or Java 

  • For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country
