Salary range (but not limited to):

80,700 - 98,700

Annual bonus target, based on the base salary, with a potential payout of up to double the target (subject to personal and company performance):

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.


About the role

We’re looking for a Mobile iOS Developer to join our growing team!

What you'll do here:

  • Provide proactive and reactive support for production systems to ensure they remain functional.

  • Resolve incidents, problem tickets, and defects by proposing creative solutions, tackling complex issues, and performing programming, debugging, and testing across a wide range of systems.

  • Use creativity to find new ways to improve our services and user experiences.

  • Support a variety of projects and enhancements.

  • Take ownership of the team’s tasks and deliverables.

  • Ensure open incident records are updated regularly and that information is accurate and up to date.

  • Create and update maintenance procedures and documentation.

  • Support production system deployments to ensure their functionality.

  • Ensure systems are optimized and meet quality standards by analyzing them and proposing creative suggestions to improve services and user experiences.

  • Make recommendations and contribute to improving system development and maintenance processes.

 

What you bring to the table:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields (mathematics, actuarial science, data), or any equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • 5 years of experience or more in iOS mobile application development.

  • Strong knowledge of SwiftUI and Concurrency (async/await) is required.

  • Knowledge of Core Data, REST, and analytics is a plus.

  • Knowledge of SPM (Swift Package Manager) is a plus too.

  • For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country. 

  • No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
