About the role
We’re looking for a Manager, Strategy to join our Lab team, design strategic presentations, and make a difference!
Our AI, data & digital strategies are key drivers of everything we do at Intact. It ignites the growth of our firm and helps us achieve our purpose.
The successful candidate for this role will gain valuable tangible insight and have the opportunity to observe and interact with senior leaders from IFC and our industry around the world.
At this time, this role reports to the Senior Vice President, Chief Digital & Data Officer.
What you’ll do here:
Coordinate and produce presentations including a compelling story or narrative that effectively communicates our AI, data & digital strategies, vision, and value proposition.
Monitor progress against strategic priorities and objectives through collaboration with Lab management team.
Participate in strategic planning forums to help drive our AI, data & digital strategies.
Prepare briefing notes for SVP, Chief Digital & Data Officer and other senior executives (VP).
Interact with senior internal and external stakeholders to support in making decisions and advancing initiatives.
What you bring to the table:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Actuarial Sciences, Computer Science or a related field.
A minimum of 5 years experience in insurance or financial services.
Experience in product management and/or user experience design, an asset.
People management and project management experience are considered an asset.
Mature stress tolerance, ability to work under pressure and manage a high workload.
Highly analytical with natural curiosity for current and emerging trends.
Reputation for being a strong team player with a high degree of emotional intelligence.
Proven experience in strategic presentation design.
Strong strategic and analytical thinking abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with senior executives across the organization.
Professional designation such as CPA, CFA, MBA, and FCAS/FCIA considered an asset.
For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English speaking colleagues across the country.
No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
