Salary range (but not limited to):
80,700 - 98,700Annual bonus target, based on the base salary, with a potential payout of up to double the target (subject to personal and company performance):

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.
About the role
We’re looking for an IT Technical Advisor II – Network to join our growing team!
What you’ll do here:
Monitor network activity to detect and remediate malicious traffic using firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), intrusion prevention systems (IPS), and other available tools.
Stay current and assess zero-day vulnerabilities, actively exploited vulnerabilities, and emerging threats in order to plan and prioritize timely remediation activities.
Act as a point of contact for customer support or escalated tickets related to network security issues.
Work closely with other IT teams on complex issues or investigations related to network security.
Help enforce network security policies, standards, and best practices, as well as regulatory compliance, to strengthen the company’s security posture.
Participate in projects and initiatives that include network components.
Work with third-party vendors, service providers, and clients to follow up on active cases.
Document and keep standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to policies and procedures up to date.
Provide recommendations and support for network-related initiatives.
What you bring to the table
Proficiency with Cisco technologies, Cisco Meraki, Palo Alto, Panorama, Prisma, Azure networking, and Terraform.
University or college degree in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
3 to 5 years of experience as a network security analyst.
Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals, routing, switching, and network devices.
Good understanding of Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) networking fundamentals.
Excellent team player with the ability to work with various internal and external teams.
Ability to troubleshoot complex network-related issues.
Ability to work with different operating systems.
Ability to communicate highly technical concepts to diverse audiences.
A recognized certification such as PCNSE, CCNA, CCNP, CISSP, or CEH is an asset.
Bilingual (French and English): Need to interact on a regular basis with an English-speaking clientele and colleagues across the country.
No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada
