About the role
We’re looking for a Bilingual IT Project Manager to join the IT Business Office Support & Services (BOSS) team!
What you'll do here:
Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
Effectively manage multiple large complex projects, vendors, and cross-functional teams
Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility,
Ensure resource availability and allocation working closely with resource managers
Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
Measure project performance using available tools and techniques in compliance with key performance indicators (KPI)
Report and engage to management as needed
Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
Manage escalations with Directors and VPs across different business units and Tech+Lab teams
Perform risk management to minimize project risks
Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
Create, maintain and communicate comprehensive project documentation
Assign project tasks based on team members’ individual strengths, skill sets and experience levels
Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals
Manage budget and use change process as needed
Contribute to PM Community of Practice initiatives
Proactively propose solutions and opportunities to enhance PM Practices
Guide, Mentor and support other Project Managers in the organization
What you bring to the table:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, project management or equivalent
PMP certification (an asset)
7+ years of relevant experience with a mix of IT oriented Cross-Functional and Business Facing Projects
Mastering execution of different phases of an IT Project for Waterfall and/or Agile projects
Experience working with project management tools (Clarity, Jira, Confluence)
Autonomously make appropriate decisions and manage individual workload and priorities
Independently navigate difficult stakeholder communications and negotiations in a smooth fashion
Capable and willing to lead ad hoc opportunities to support evolution and growth
Dynamic, ability to work in a changing environment
Bilingualism (French and English) - Need to interact regularly with colleagues from across the country.
No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
