About the role

We are looking for an IT Process Engineering Specialist to join our growing team within the Tech+Lab Business Office. Responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing solutions that optimize the efficiency of technological processes, the Process Engineering Specialist works to enhance the overall performance of the organization by closely collaborating with the Tech+Lab teams.

Reporting to the Manager, Transformation Enablement and IT Project Governance, and as a member of a collaborative team, the ideal candidate challenges the status quo, builds relationships, and leads initiatives that improve business and technological processes.

What you'll do here:

  • Analyze existing processes to identify improvement opportunities

  • Design optimized processes that align organization goals with operational capabilities

  • Integrate new technologies to enhance processes

  • Develop and manage process improvement initiatives

  • Support the adoption of new practices

  • Evaluate process performance after implementing changes and make adjust as necessary

  • Implement key performance indicators to track process results evolution

  • Present process analysis results to organization stakeholders

  • Facilitate workshops and brainstorming sessions to foster collaboration and stimulate innovation

  • Establish strong interpersonal relationships with peers and key stakeholders

  • Propose continuous improvements to optimize the organization’s processes

What you will bring to the table:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or any combination of education and equivalent experience

  • At least 5 years of experience in process design and improvement, preferably in an IT environment

  • In-depth knowledge of computer systems and emerging technologies

  • Analytical skills and the ability to solve complex problems

  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma methods or other process improvement techniques

  • Proven ability to collaborate and work in a team

  • Innovative mindset, creativity, and strong critical thinking

  • Ability to work independently

  • Proven facilitation and communication skills

  • Bilingualism (French and English) – Need to interact regularly with colleagues across the country

  • No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
