Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented below is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.

Software Developer I (Commercial Lines)
Drive innovation on the internal dashboard by translating user and colleague needs into intuitive features, iterative improvements, and measurable user experience gains.
Build and maintain SOA-based applications using GitHub, Docker, and OpenShift, applying Agile/Scrum/Kanban practices to deliver reliable, scalable services.
Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, defects, and problem tickets end-to-end—diagnosing issues, coding fixes, testing, and debugging across a diverse system landscape.
Support production deployments and ongoing operations, ensuring performance and quality through analysis, optimization, and creative enhancements to services and UX.
Technical Skills required: Object Oriented Programming - C, C++, Python, Java, experience with any frontend technology (JavaScript, Angular, React)
Nice to Have: Experience with SQL Databases
Production Support
Monitor and support production systems; assist with deployments and validate functionality.
Triage and resolve tickets/defects by investigating, debugging, testing, and documenting fixes.
Maintain clear, up-to-date incident records and create/update runbooks and maintenance docs.
Contribute to projects and process improvements; take ownership of rotation tasks and suggest enhancements.
Technical Skills Required: Java, SQL, APIs (REST or SOAP)
Nice to Have: Java 8+, JDBC, Hibernate, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Angular
What you bring to the table:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a field related to software development, computer science, or anything relevant;
Available to work with us full-time, 35 hours per week, from May 2026 – August 2027
Must be an active student during your internship and/or returning to school in next Fall 2027 following your internship
Experience in a financial services company would be considered an asset.
Understand the software development lifecycle and be curious about continuous delivery pipelines and testing.
Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.
Adaptability, curiosity, and commitment to continuous learning.
Excellent communication skills with a passion for technology.
Self-reliant with a strong sense of responsibility.
