About the role

We’re looking for an Investment Operations Analyst to join our growing team!

What you’ll do here:

  • Set up complex derivatives transactions in the ABOR system (Eagle).
  • Reconcile trades with counterparties and organize settlements using Bloomberg.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new investment strategies in collaboration with the portfolio management and finance teams.
  • Document business processes related to the transactional cycle of derivative financial instruments.
  • Establish internal controls to ensure an optimal and secure transaction cycle.
  • Act as derivatives expert in the integration of new mandates.
  • Ensure continuous improvement by keeping abreast of evolving industry practices.
  • Participate in the analysis and implementation of derivative financial instruments following acquisitions.
  • Optimize, develop and implement new business processes and technology tools.
  • Support audit requirements.


What you bring to the table:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • CFA, FRM or PRM designation, an asset.
  • At least three years of experience in derivatives in a large company.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft tools, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent knowledge of the Bloomberg system.
  • Passion for market finance.
  • Thoroughness, efficiency, ability to take initiative.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Bilingualism (French / English) – Need to interact on a regular basis with colleagues across the country.
