About the role

Join us as a Financial Performance & Analytics Specialist and be the bridge between finance, technology, and business operations. In this hybrid role, you’ll combine your accounting expertise, advanced data analytics skills, and ability to manage contractual matters to drive profitability and performance in a fast-growing technology-solutions environment. You’ll redesign dashboards, model financial scenarios, optimize data flows, and provide actionable insights that shape strategic decisions—all while contributing to major transformation projects. Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented, critical-thinking professional who can bridge finance and technology to support our growing technology-solutions business. In this role, you will combine strong accounting/financial expertise with advanced data analysis skills to provide insights on revenue, costing, expense management, and operational performance. You will play a key role in evolving our back-office ecosystem, supporting contractual matters, and delivering impactful analytics that drive strategic decisions.

This position reports to the Controller, Finance and Operational Performance.

What you’ll do

  • Re-design dashboards and scorecards to reflect changes in the service portfolio; introduce profitability, expense analysis, and trend monitoring by service.
  • Extract, clean, and manipulate data from multiple sources and technologies to answer stakeholder questions.
  • Collaborate with business units to improve processes for reporting, budget review, and operational performance analysis.
  • Build, maintain, and enhance financial models, including monthly forecast tracking and a rolling 3-year projection.
  • Develop cost-benefit analyses, ROI, and DCF models for new projects and services.
  • Provide financial input and analysis to support the review, negotiation, and monitoring of contractual agreements.
  • Design and automate analytics solutions to support performance measurement and product performance metrics.
  • Validate and integrate new data sources that could benefit internal clients.
  • Strengthen internal controls to safeguard data integrity and completeness.
  • Provide actionable recommendations through data-driven insights.
  • Present analysis results to diverse audiences, adapting communication for technical and non-technical stakeholders.

What you bring

  • Post secondary education in finance, accounting, information systems or Data Analytics – is required
  • CPA designation (CMA, CGA, CA) or equivalent experience in financial analysis.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in financial analytics, data analysis – is required
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles (IFRS/GAAP) and strong business acumen.
  • Experience in reviewing, interpreting, and supporting contractual and vendor agreements from a financial perspective.
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel, SQL, and Power BI tools – is required
  • Experience with data processing tools and programming languages such as R, Python – is required
  • Ability to manipulate, clean, and interpret large datasets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
