Financial Analyst- 4 months Internship/Coop (Summer 2026)

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented below is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.

Salary range (but not limited to):

57,000 - 71,200

We are looking for Financial Analyst interns for our growing team! 

 

What you’ll do here:  

• Assist with the reconciliation of monthly entries and/or project costs.
• Participate in month-end and/or year-end reporting, particularly by preparing financial statements.
• Use standard financial models to track results, ensure accuracy, and adjust as needed to minimize variances from actual results.
• Collaborate with relevant business units to obtain the information necessary to clarify financial results.
• Analyze existing data and reports to identify variances from the plan, trends, and opportunities for improving financial performance.
• Participate in financial planning, forecasting, and performance comparisons.
• Assist with the extraction, transformation, and visualization of financial data to analyze and determine the causes of financial performance.
• Help document and implement new processes as needed.
• Develop or suggest actions to improve operational efficiency and consistency through enhanced reporting, process improvements, and automation.
• Ensure that financial activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.

What you bring to the table:  

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting in progress
• Strong skills in Excel
• Strong skills in data extraction, manipulation, and synthesis
• Good skills in Power BI or Power Query (asset)
• Experience in the field of accounting or finance (an asset)
• Aspiration to obtain a CPA (an asset)
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Autonomous and responsible
• Attention to detail
• Bilingualism (French and English) Requirement to interact on a regular basis with colleagues across the country
• Available 35 hours a week from May 4 to August 21, 2026
• Must return to studies in the Fall 2026 after your internship
