About the role

Nous sommes à la recherche d’un(e) expert(e) en sinistre interne, Environnement  pour se joindra à notre équipe grandissante!  

En tant qu’expert(e) en sinistre environnement, vous serez responsable de la gestion complète des dossiers de réclamations impliquant des incidents environnementaux (déversement, contamination du sol ou de l’eau et responsabilités civiles environnementales) en automobile et en habitation. Vous agirez à titre de personne-ressource spécialisée et travaillerez en étroite collaboration avec les experts-conseils, les autorités réglementaires et les assurés. 

Lieu de travail: Laval (600 rue Lucien-Paiement), Montréal (2020 boul. Robert-Bourassa, Québec (5700 boul. Des Galeries) ou St-Hyacinthe  (2450 rue Girouard O).

Ce que vous ferez :  

  • Analyser et gérer les réclamations liées aux dommages à l’environnement  
  • Analyser la recevabilité et enquêter les circonstances d'une réclamation afin d'en déterminer les causes. 
  • Coordonner les enquêtes techniques et les expertises environnementales. 
  • Offrir un règlement juste et équitable en prenant en considération les normes et règles de l'entreprise en vigueur selon l’endroit du sinistre. 
  • Assurer la conformité réglementaire des interventions (ex. MELCCFP). 
  • Négocier les règlements avec les parties concernées. 
  • Avoir une bonne gestion des réserves. 
  • Gérer efficacement de son bureau et ses priorités. 
  • Maintenir une communication efficace avec toutes les parties prenantes. 

 

Ce que vous mettrez à profit :  

  • Détenir un certificat d’expert en sinistres 5A.
  • Diplôme d’études collégiales ou universitaires.
  • Au moins 5 ans d'expérience dans le secteur de l’assurance automobile et habitation.
  • Au moins 3 ans d’expérience en indemnisation. 
  • Connaissance des lois et règlements environnementaux applicables au Canada (un atout). 
  • Bonnes capacités d’analyse et de prise de décision.
  • Être en mesure d’établir ses priorités.
  • Bilinguisme (français / anglais) – Nécessité d’interagir sur une base régulière avec une clientèle anglophone et des collègues partout au pays.
