Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented below is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.

About the role

Our growing team is looking for an Analytics Developer!

Who needs insurance? Everyone. And that keeps us busy. Very busy. Machine learning, data science, AI, agility, user experience, software developers, creative design (design thinking): we’re an innovation lab. Together, we’re transforming the customer experience for millions of people across the country.

The successful candidate will serve as an Analytics Developer within the Analytics, Platforms & Transactions team and work closely with IT teams and Data Analysts. With their expertise, curiosity, and proactivity, they will help achieve our goals by providing technical support on a variety of projects, including A/B test implementation, front-end and cloud (AEP) analytics implementation, digital survey tools, as well as proposing continuous improvements for the tools supported by the team.

 

What you’ll do here:

  • Create analytics implementation guides.

  • Implement web tagging solutions.

  • Be creative and propose ideas to improve our tools.

  • Perform systems and programming needs analyses to identify issues and provide proposed solutions.

  • Resolve incidents, problem tickets, and defects by finding creative solutions to complex problems, coding, testing, and debugging.

  • Ensure the implementation of logic-based A/B tests via Adobe Target.

  • Implement surveys using analytics as the trigger.

  • Provide production deployment support to ensure functionality.

  • Document processes and solutions and draft permanent documentation for more complex integrated solutions.

 

What you bring to the table:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in analytics development.

  • Deep knowledge of the digital data collection implementation process (Google Tag Manager, Adobe Launch, etc.).

  • Passion for digital and analytics.

  • Knowledge of implementing digital surveys using tools such as Qualtrics.

  • Knowledge of the Adobe suite.

  • Experience implementing A/B tests.

  • Initiative and the ability to work under pressure.

  • Ability to work both in a team and independently.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Ability to explain and simplify technical concepts.

  • No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.

  • Bilingualism. Need to interact on a regular basis with colleagues across the country.
