Salary range (but not limited to):

161,600 - 197,500

Annual bonus target, based on the base salary, with a potential payout of up to double the target (subject to personal and company performance):

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.


About the role

Our Security team is looking for a Director, Customer, Broker & Third-Party Security!

 

Reporting to the DSVP, Chief Information Security Officers (CISO), you will be responsible for the design, delivery and operations of security platforms leveraged to secure the digital experience of our customers and brokers, as well as platforms used to assess and mitigate risks related to third parties. This position comes with a high level of visibility, requiring regular communication with senior management in the business and continuous interaction with the IT and Security teams.

 

What you'll do here:


  • Manage a team of managers and professionals working to ensure the optimal operation of existing security solutions while also looking to the future and ensuring that road maps and 3+ year strategy is delivered.
  • Collaborate with IT colleagues and business peers to ensure that security solutions for customer and broker channels correctly balance user experience and security.
  • Lead the mechanisms to mitigate risk related to third parties, including third party risk assessments and continuous monitoring of third parties.
  • Manage steering and governance committees to ensure the right stakeholders are informed and involved in ongoing initiatives and represent your team challenges and findings at executive forums.
  • Create and publish team backlog / capacity plans for consumption by other groups, fostering a culture of transparency and risk informed execution.
  • Build a strong relationship with development teams for customer and broker facing channels.
  • Ensure alignment of selected technology with security practices and enterprise architecture.
  • Actively participate in various ongoing IT projects and support acquisition projects.
  • Act as advisor on customer, broker and third-party security to all IT and business stakeholders.
  • Ensure resources are working on priority projects, requests, and issues (manage priorities).
  • Effectively establish and manage multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Be a collaborative leader who successfully engages their team to drive IT infrastructure and design activities in support of the IT mission, leveraging industry best practices.
  • Ensure the team has the expertise to support the IT mission by enabling appropriate training.


What you bring to the table:


  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or other relevant field or any combination of equivalent education and experience.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience managing large technical teams.
  • Experience managing platforms used for customer identity and access management, cloud-native application protection, and/or third-party risk management.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and initiatives at once.
  • Experience in heterogeneous and complex IT environments, from cloud, SaaS and on-prem.
  • Bilingualism is considered an asset (French / English) – Need to interact on a regular basis with colleagues across the country.
  • No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
