About the role
We are seeking a dynamic Director of Intelligent Operations to lead transformative change within our technology operations. This role is essential for enhancing operational agility, implementing innovative solutions, and establishing a reliable operational framework through strategic collaborations and advanced data strategies.
As the Director of Intelligent Operations, you will play a critical role in partnering with Lines of Business (LOBs), Risk, and other enterprise partners. You will drive the delivery of Intelligent Operations capabilities, ensuring all operational initiatives are aligned with business strategies to achieve superior outcomes. Your leadership will foster a cohesive and agile operational ecosystem that adapts to evolving business needs.
What you'll do here:
Strategic Leadership and Change Management
Transform our tech operations into an adaptive, insight-driven environment central to strategic decision-making and growth.
Engage proactively with LOB leaders, Risk, and tech teams to align operational strategies with business objectives, ensuring strategic initiatives are executed effectively.
Develop and manage robust communication channels across enterprise stakeholders, serving as the primary point of contact for strategic alignment.
Delivery Leadership
Oversee the full delivery processes of Intelligent Operations, ensuring successful project and outcome execution.
Collaborate with LOB champions and senior management on aligning business strategies, value and risk tracking, and developing actionable roadmaps.
Ensure transparency and accountability by tracking progress against portfolio milestones and managing communication across teams.
Operational Resilience and Reliability
Embed resilience into operational practices, ensuring continuity and reliable performance in a dynamic environment.
Implement Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices and utilize observability tools for real-time monitoring and decision-making.
Optimization and Efficient Innovation
Enhance operational efficiency with smart technologies, reducing effort through automation and continuous process improvements.
Cultivate a culture of agility and lean principles, encouraging cross-functional collaboration and ownership to drive swift and effective outcomes.
Agility and Collaboration
Foster a bias for action and continuous improvement by implementing best practices that streamline delivery success.
Leverage Jira and other tools to manage, track, and report on project progress, identifying bottlenecks, and ensuring team alignment with goals.
Accountability and Quality Assurance
Maintain high quality standards by holding teams accountable for meeting timelines and milestones.
Proactively manage dependencies and facilitate problem-solving to address challenges and impediments effectively.
Prepare and deliver comprehensive C-level reports on operational achievements, risks, and progress towards deliverables.
Development of a Collaborative Ecosystem
Build and sustain strategic partnerships across the enterprise, integrating complementary skills and fostering innovation.
Manage alliances to enhance service offerings and adapt swiftly to operational demands.
What you bring to the table:
Transformational Leadership: Proven ability to lead strategic change within technology operations, encouraging innovation and agile methodologies.
Technical Acumen: Expertise in data-driven processes, optimizing system performance, and enacting strategic operational changes.
Assertive Stakeholder Engagement: Strong ability to collaborate with LOB leaders to ensure seamless integration and strategic alignment.
Commitment to Reliability: In-depth understanding of SRE principles and observability practices to maintain optimal system functionality.
Bilingualism (French- English): For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
