Salary range (but not limited to):

109,900 - 134,300

Annual bonus target, based on the base salary, with a potential payout of up to double the target (subject to personal and company performance):

15%

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.


About the role

We’re looking for a Manager, Workforce Management to join our growing team!

What you will accomplish with us:

  • Perform forecasting analyses of the team’s transformation initiatives, innovations and optimization projects.

  • Build relationships with our national business partners to understand their business and support them in achieving their objectives.

  • Analyze and review business results and forecast implications so that you can share them with your business partners.

  • Develop long-term forecasts and find ways to achieve business unit objectives.

  • Ensure capacity plans are accurate each month based on the most up-to-date information.

  • Achieve objectives by proactively managing a multi-site and multi-skilled team.

  • Develop your team members’ skills through coaching, look for ways to better manage their performance and optimize internal processes.

  • Make recommendations to the vice presidents and directors of the business units we work with to optimize business performance.

  • Help deploy the workforce management team to new business units.


What you will bring:

  • Extensive management experience and a good understanding of Personal Lines and Commercial Lines underwriting.

  • Excellent communication skills​.

  • Strong command of Excel, good knowledge of PowerPoint and Word.

  • Solid analytical, critical thinking, decision-making and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail.

  • Bilingualism (English and French) is essential - Need to interact with French and English speaking colleagues and direct reports across the country.

  • In-depth knowledge of workforce management software such as NICE IEX, an asset.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize.

  • Ability to concentrate on vaguely defined problems that require the application of creative approaches.

  • Proven leadership accomplishments.

  • No Canadian work experience is required; however, you must be eligible to work in Canada.
