About the role
We’re looking for a strategic, results-oriented Digital Marketing Strategist to lead our end-to-end paid media efforts and manage influencer and social media campaigns for Affinity groups. This role will define multi-platform paid media strategy, translate goals into actionable campaign plans, and steward performance from launch through optimization.
The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in performance marketing, planning and executing paid campaigns across channels to drive measurable outcomes, increase conversions, and maximize ROAS. A strong command of data, a test-and-learn mindset, and a relentless focus on continuous optimization are essential.
Partnering closely with the broader performance and media team, this role owns the strategic lifecycle: campaign planning, cross-functional coordination with execution paid teams, real-time performance oversight, and post-campaign analysis with clear insights and recommendations. Success requires analytical rigor, platform fluency, and a proactive drive to improve efficiency and impact across paid media, influencer programs, and social initiatives.
What you'll do here:
Campaign Strategy & Optimization
Lead multi-channel paid media strategy across Meta, Google (Search, Display, YouTube, PMAX), TikTok, Reddit and LinkedIn, setting objectives, budgets, testing priorities, and measurement, while collaborating with the performance and media team on execution and optimization.
Monitor performance and guide optimization (bids, targeting, ad copy, landing pages) using web analytics to track full-funnel results and accurate attribution.
Define and oversee rigorous A/B testing to improve KPIs (CTR, CVR, CPA) and inform ongoing optimization.
Data, Measurement & Reporting
With the support of the data analytic and performance and media teams, prepare detailed performance reports, providing actionable insights, clear summaries of results, and recommendations to stakeholders.
Communicate campaign performance, testing roadmaps, and optimization strategies clearly to the marketing team and management
Influencer & Creator Campaigns and Social Media Strategy
Build and oversee influencer and social media strategy for Affinity groups; setting goals, content guidelines, measurement and budgets.
Coordinate content approvals, brand safety, and compliance (disclosures/FTC/CAP/ASC).
Amplify top-performing creator content via paid whitelisting/spark ads; integrate creator assets into paid and owned channels.
Establish measurement frameworks for influencer programs (reach, engagement, CTR, CPA, ROAS, LTV contribution) and codify learnings.
Monitor trends, platform updates, and best practices; pilot new formats and features to drive engagement and reach.
Agency Management
Manage agency partner support for overflow and channel-specific execution; drive tight briefs, and post-mortems.
What you bring to the table:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, or a related field.
5+ years of hands-on experience managing high-budget performance/growth media campaigns (SEM, Social, Programmatic, etc).
Strong understanding of performance marketing metrics (CPA, ROAS, LTV, etc.) and experience with conversion rate optimization (CRO).
Ability to translate data into creative direction and guide team on the exact assets, specs, hooks, and storylines needed to win.
Hands-on with Adobe, Google Tag Manager, Meta Events Manager and attribution via HubSpot (or similar).
Strong ability to connect business objectives with media performance, translating insights from data into actionable optimizations that drive tangible business results.
Demonstrated ability to think analytically, use data to solve problems, and make data-driven decisions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
No Canadian work experience required, but must have authorization to work in Canada.
