Salary range (but not limited to):

87,200 - 106,600

Annual bonus target, based on the base salary, with a potential payout of up to double the target (subject to personal and company performance):

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.


About the role

Reporting to the Manager of the Creative and Brand team, the successful candidate will play a key role in developing and executing marketing initiatives to strengthen IFC brands across the Canadian, USA, and UK markets. This diverse and fulfilling role involves spearheading branding efforts to ensure consistency and identifying opportunities for brand evolution. You will serve as the branding reference for your peers and engage with various internal stakeholders in multidisciplinary forums, driving our brand’s leadership forward. 

 

What you'll do here:

  • Guide the application of the brand into visually captivating designs across all touchpoints where our brand interacts with our users and clients (social media, mobile apps, websites, advertising signage). 

  • Oversee brand guidelines and the overall aesthetics for all touchpoints. 

  • Present, educate, and advocate for brand guidelines among our employees and power users of our brand assets. 

  • Explore and refine visual compositions, typography, color palettes, formats, and messaging to maximize creative impact and achieve objectives. 

  • Collaborate with the creative director to deliver high-impact concepts aligned with our brands’ positioning. 

  • Stay update with design trends, tools, and technologies pertinent to financial services and digital media to ensure designs are innovative and relevant. 

  • Aid in the creation of design systems and templates for scalable content production. 

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards. 

 

What you bring to the table:

  • Over 5 years of experience in marketing, with over 3 years focused on branding and design. 

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or communications and design. 

  • Proficient in using design software such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) to produce high-quality digital content and assets for web, social media, print, and presentations. 

  • Skilled in managing DAM products. 

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple design projects and create high-quality digital assets. 

  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision. 

  • Proven experience in overseeing brand assets across various channels, both digital and offline, ensuring effective brand application in all tactics. 

  • Positive attitude, highly collaborative, enjoys problem-solving and building consensus. 

  • For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.

  • No Canadian work experience required, but must have authorization to work in Canada.
