Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented below is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.

About the role
We are looking for a Bilingual Events Consultant to join our Talent Acquisition team. In this role, you will be assisting with the development and execution of recruitment events. You will bring previous experience in events coordination and planning. You have a knack for anticipating stakeholder needs and ensuring flawless execution of an event. We organize in-person events, virtual events, and career fairs, providing you variety in your day-to-day activities. Reporting into the Manager, Future Talent & Events you will join a team of event professionals with the goal of delivering best-in-class events.
This role is a temporary 12-month contract/secondment opportunity.
What you’ll do here:
- Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of Talent Acquisition events, from planning and logistics to execution and post-event follow-up.
- Lead project management for events, including creating workback schedules, tracking budgets and event expenses.
- Organize event registrations, Outlook invites, and communication for company representatives.
- Manage vendor relationships, venue bookings, catering, and other event-related services.
- Coordinate participation in external events (career fairs, networking sessions, and industry conferences), including hosting training sessions and event kick-offs to prepare company representatives.
- Craft proposals for swag and contribute to swag ideation to enhance event engagement; prepare and ship event materials, as required.
- Provide on-site and virtual event support to ensure a seamless experience for attendees.
- Track event performance metrics and provide post-event reports and recommendations.
- Support and develop LinkedIn and other social media promotions to enhance event visibility.
What you bring to the table:
- 1 to 2 years of experience in coordination.
- Event logistics experience is an asset.
- Fluency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Office suite, Excel, Planner.
- Experience with virtual event platforms and technology, an asset.
- Strong collaboration skills and experience working in cross-functional teams.
- Ability to problem solve on the spot and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Creativity and attention to detail in event planning and execution.
- Customer service orientation and ability to engage with diverse audiences.
- Bilingualism (French / English) – Need to interact on a regular basis with colleagues across the country.
- No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
