What you'll do here:

  • Lead the development and execution of strategic communications plans that support organizational priorities, inspire/encourage action and drive meaningful employee engagement
  • Craft compelling, executive-level content including leadership messaging, briefing notes, talking points, announcements, and change communications
  • Own end-to-end event planning and execution for corporate events, town halls, and employee engagement activities — from strategy through to delivery
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and stakeholders, translating complex business priorities into clear, impactful communications
  • Influence and play a role beyond your immediate mandate, acting as a leader and conductor within multidisciplinary teams
  • Use data, feedback, and audience insights to continuously optimize communications strategies and approaches
  • Ensure all communications are delivered with excellence in both English and French and help ensure high quality communications in French across all national projects.

What you bring to the table:

  • A university graduate with a degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Deeply experienced – with a minimum of 8-10+ years in strategic communications, with demonstrated expertise in executive communications and large-scale event management
  • A masterful writer and storyteller, with the ability to adapt facts and stats into impactful, action-driven stories across written and visual media
  • A strategic, senior advisor who can work autonomously, manage ambiguity, and make sound decisions with minimal direction
  • A strong team player, leading with curiosity, respect and integrity, to help coach and mentor peers and junior team members
  • Skilled at building and maintaining relationships with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders in a large, matrixed organization
  • A curious, data-informed thinker who uses insights and feedback to ideate and evolve strategy over time
  • Comfortable leading in a fast-paced, changing environment - motivating others to embrace change and adapting strategic approaches to the shifts in the environment
  • Bilingualism (French / English) – Need to interact on a regular basis with colleagues across the country
  • No Canadian work experience required, but must have authorization to work in Canada.
