About the role
You are a cloud administrator specializing in the development, deployment and management of the technology infrastructure that supports an organization's applications and services. This role is essential to ensure that systems operate efficiently, reliably and securely.
What you'll do here:
Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Management with Terraform:
Write Terraform modules to ensure reusability and maintainability of infrastructure code.
Configuration Management with Ansible:
Develop Ansible playbooks for automated configuration and management of servers and applications.
Kubernetes Administration and Management:
Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters on cloud platforms.
Implement and manage Kubernetes operators to automate operational tasks.
Continuous Deployment with Argo:
Set up and maintain ArgoCD for automated GitOps-based continuous delivery processes.
Automate application rollouts and rollbacks in Kubernetes using Argo workflows.
Application Development Support with Java (Spring Boot):
Collaborate with development teams to containerize Spring Boot applications and ensure their compatibility with Kubernetes.
Collaboration and Documentation:
Document architectural designs, processes, and best practices for infrastructure and automation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for requirement gathering and problem-solving.
Conduct training sessions or workshops to spread knowledge on new tools and technologies.
Keeping Systems Up To Date:
Regularly update Terraform scripts, Ansible roles, and Kubernetes configurations to support the latest features and patches.
Stay informed about new releases and updates in cloud services and tools to leverage new functionalities.
What you bring to the table:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering or equivalent combination of training and experience.
Relevant certification in AWS and/or GCP and/or Azure cloud infrastructure development.
3 years' experience in a DevOps and cloud computing environment (AWS, GCP and Azure).
3 years' experience in "infrastructure as code" (Terraform, Terraform cloud computing).
Technical skills: Expertise in operating systems, networks, virtualization, containerization (such as Docker), and cloud platforms (such as AWS, Azure, GCP).
Automation and scripting: Proficiency in using scripting languages such as Python, Bash, Java Spring boot or PowerShell to automate tasks.
Problem solving: Ability to diagnose and solve technical problems quickly.
Analytical approach: Ability to analyze complex logics and optimize technical processes.
Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Deployment and operationalize of Kubernetes (RedHad, EKS, GKE or AKS)
Bilingual (French and English): Need to interact on a regular basis with an English-speaking clientele and colleagues across the country.
No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
