Salary range (but not limited to):
59,300 - 72,500Annual bonus target, based on the base salary, with a potential payout of up to double the target (subject to personal and company performance):

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.
About the role
We are seeking an Internal Property Claims Adjuster for our growing team!
As an Internal Property Claims Adjuster – Home Insurance, you’ll be central to what we do best: helping people. You’ll work alongside an enthusiastic and diverse team of claims adjusters who support our customers as they recover from unexpected events.
Your compassion and strong technical skills will make you a valuable part of our team, and in return, we’ll offer exciting opportunities to investigate and manage property losses and complex claims for both our personal and commercial lines. Every unique situation and property claim will showcase your ability to handle details with care. You’ll review individual files, meet with insureds and witnesses, maintain clear and well-organized documentation, and analyze policy terms to assess liability and settlements.
What you’ll do here:
Open new claims over the phone with customers, then ensure the situation is handled immediately.
Analyze information gathered, determine claim validity, investigate the circumstances, identify causes and reassess damage evaluations as needed.
Interview policyholders and/or witnesses to gather their accounts of events.
Use tools efficiently.
Determine subrogation in claim files.
Manage reserves effectively.
Manage your office and priorities efficiently,
Check the insured’s policy details to determine coverage.
Collaborate effectively with various teams, including appraisal, underwriting and subrogation.
Ensure effective cost management.
What you bring to the table
Class 5a and/or 5b claims adjuster licence
At least one to two years of experience as a claims adjuster
Solid understanding of insurance products
Strong time-management skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
A good understanding of the claims process
Consistent performance and productivity
Bilingualism (English and French): Required for handling claims from English-speaking clients on a regular basis
