We are currently seeking a Annotation/Data Analyst I (Junior) to work with our AI Lab team to help build high quality datasets, conduct analysis on output and improve our data science solutions. Artificial intelligence is shaping the future of insurance. Our latest lab is located in the Hong Kong Science and Technology Park to turn this vision into a reality. As Canada's largest home, auto and business insurer, we're here to cultivate the next generation of technology and talent. Together, we're helping our customers protect what matters to them most through the power of data science, machine learning and AI.  

 

As a tech pioneer within a new AI lab, you’ll have to opportunity to:  

  • Annotate dataset in English (French is a bonus) 

  • Create quality training data for research in Artificial Intelligence 

  • Set up annotation projects using Python 

  • Perform error analysis to provide insights for AI solution improvement 

  • Explore using Large Language Models for pre-annotation 

  • Work with a team of talented Data Scientist and AI Developers to breakdown a business problem & build machine learning solution 

  • Serve as quality control, performing validation task 

  • Working from home in a flexible work arrangement 

 

Here’s what you bring to the table:  

  • Strong comprehensive skills in English; French is a bonus 

  • Comfortable doing repetitive work with textual data 

  • Basic Python programming skill  

  • Part-time employment could be considered for the right candidate 

  • Curiosity in the field of Scientific Research or Artificial Intelligence would be a plus 

  • Completion of High School Diploma; Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics / Data Analytics related discipline would be a plus
