We are currently seeking an Actuarial Analyst Intern for our growing team!

What you will accomplish with us:

  • Track profitability and competitiveness of insurance portfolios and prepare the action plan for the coming years.
  • Use actuarial techniques to ensure sufficient reserves, appropriate reinsurance levels, and adequate capital for various catastrophic scenarios.
  • Contribute to innovation initiatives in machine learning, customer experience, telematics, and climate change.
  • Support the underwriting, marketing, risk management, and finance departments.
  • Discover and familiarize yourself with the insurance industry.
  • Create networks and connections for your professional development.
  • Enhance your skills through training and collaboration with our experts.
  • Work on development projects and share your knowledge with colleagues.

What you will bring to the table:

  • Ongoing university studies in the following fields: actuarial science, statistics, mathematics, business intelligence, or another related field.
  • Interest in computers, technology, and innovation (an asset).
  • Bilingualism (French and English). Need to interact regularly with colleagues across the country.
  • Excellent adaptability.
  • Teamwork skills.
  • Autonomy and a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Analytical and synthesis capabilities.
  • Availability to work 35 hours per week.
  • The intern must be considered an active student for the duration of the internship.
