Salary range (but not limited to):

87,200 - 106,600

Annual bonus target, based on the base salary, with a potential payout of up to double the target (subject to personal and company performance):

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.

About the role

We’re looking for a Senior QA Analyst to join our growing team!

What you'll do here:

• Test planning and execution

  • Design, plan, and execute ETL test cases and scripts (functional, integration, regression, and performance testing) with robust data quality checks to ensure accuracy, completeness, consistency, and integrity across the data lifecycle.

  • Document test artifacts and results, and communicate quality status, risks, and insights to stakeholders.

• Tooling and test management

  • Validate data using ETL tools and SQL; manage tests and documentation in JIRA; build and maintain automation frameworks and scripts (Python, Spark, Snowflake) for regression, functional, and end-to-end testing.

  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing and deployment.

• Analysis, defects, and continuous improvement

  • Identify, document, and report defects, risks, and issues, as well as automation opportunities; conduct thorough root cause analysis of failures and data inconsistencies.

  • Streamline and implement AI-driven testing techniques to expand coverage and improve accuracy and efficiency.

• Collaboration

  • Collaborate with developers, data engineers, data analysts, and business stakeholders within Agile methodologies to understand requirements and data workflows.

• Governance, leadership, and growth

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, data privacy standards, and internal control frameworks.

  • Mentor junior team members on testing and automation best practices, while staying current on test automation, data engineering, and AI to drive improvements.

What you bring to the table:

• Bachelor or college degree in a field related to IT or any combination of equivalent education and experience.

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT Quality Assurance and in data engineering teams with a strong focus on test automation techniques and tools (Snowflake, Apache Spark, and Python).

• Extensive hands-on with CI/CD (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).

• Deep knowledge of data engineering: ETL processes, data warehousing, Data Vault, big data.

• Proficient with JIRA and Confluence.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• Able to set and reprioritize work in changing environments.

• No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
