Salary range (but not limited to):

43,600 - 53,200

Annual bonus target, based on the base salary, with a potential payout of up to double the target (subject to personal and company performance):

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.


About the role

We’re seeking a detail-oriented Claims Assistant (II) to support our property claims adjusters with high-quality clerical and administrative tasks. In this support role, you will review incoming claim content and documentation for completeness and accuracy, organize and label files, enter and verify data in claims systems, and help ensure timely progression of claims. This position is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, excellent organization, and a service mindset.

What you'll do here:        

  • Accurately enter claim details, notes, and document metadata into claims management systems.
  • Review incoming claim submissions (photos, estimates, invoices, statements) for completeness and clarity.
  • Collaborate with adjusters and other team members for evaluating contents on Schedule of Losses, Calculating ACV and RCV.
  • Send and track standardized correspondence and requests using approved templates.
  • Serve as a point of contact for basic documentation questions; escalate complex inquiries.
  • Perform quality checks to ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements
  • Identify process improvements to management.
  • Other tasks such as: CAT Coding, reviewing low complexity files to move to closure, providing quality checks to temporary staff.


What you bring to the table:

  • College Diploma including business/administration training or any combination of equivalent education and experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year of work experience.
  • Ability to consistently perform at a superior level with respect to both the accuracy and volume of work completed.
  • Effective communications skills with an emphasis on customer service.
  • Strong computer skills of with standard office applications including strong data entry skills.
  • No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
