Our commitment is underscored by the initiatives we support and our community alliances:

Intact has made a commitment of $300,000 to support the national social enterprise, Indigenous Works.

We partnered with BPTN (Black Professionals in Tech Network) to hire Black professionals in our growing tech department and across the organization. 

We have been recognized for our exceptional commitment to gender equity through receiving since 2018 Gouvernance au Féminin/Women in Governance Parity Certification. 

We are a founding signature of the BlackNorth Initiative, reinforcing our dedication to addressing anti-Black racism. 

We endorsed a commitment of $500,000 to support anti-racism efforts by supporting Pathways to Education in Canada and Northside Achievement Zone in the United States. 

We have signed the Catalyst Accord, pledging to accelerate the advancement of women in business. 

We have signed the 30 Percent Club, showing our commitment to achieving better gender balance at board and senior management levels. 

We joined the #StopHateforProfit initiative, displaying our support in the Facebook platform continuing to make progress on stopping hate speech. 

We partnered with Pride at Work to continue building a workplace that celebrates each individual regardless of gender expression, gender identity and sexual orientation. 

We partnered with organizations to increase brand awareness and promote job opportunities for Black and People of Colour in insurance & financial services, through initiatives like Toronto Finance International’s ASPIRE program
