Like the captain at the helm, Gabrielle makes sure everyone is steering in the right direction, giving effective guidance and adjusting to inclement weather. To reach the destination safely, she promotes teamwork and demonstrates resiliency.

Excellence is not perfection, says Gabrielle. It’s a question of attitude, rigor and learning from your errors. To stand out, she suggests being proactive, having a positive attitude, and staying true to yourself.

He plays a key role by sharing his expertise and facilitating their integration. With the training of new team members now being done virtually, we had to rethink everything.

Haggaï has shown leadership and been proactive in improving our processes. Thanks to him, our new recruits will be able to offer excellent service to our clients.

Jason helps our teams see the positive in both big and small changes.

Even though he will be managing many changes in the future, we think it’s safe to say that handling the changes related to COVID-19 might have been the biggest "project" of his career.

Jason had to put everything he knew about change management to the test while adjusting to the new reality himself. But he had the perfect foundation before him to build and reinforce the principles of accepting change and to support our people in this unpredictable time.

In the blink of an eye, Jason prepared a virtual training course on change management that was offered to all employees and developed a toolkit to support our managers.

Thanks to his exceptional work, our employees are now more resilient to change, whether it's from COVID-19 or any new adventure life throws our way.


Deanna - stars of belairdirect

When we launched our COVID-19 relief efforts at the start of the pandemic, Deanna knew that time was of the essence.

It was a priority for her and her national colleagues to create training materials that would support employees through these changes while giving them tools to simplify the process for our customers.

As our teams shifted to working from home, Deanna needed to work with others to implement this remotely by being agile, thinking fast on her feet and tapping into her valuable resources who were only a quick online message away. On top of that, she wasn’t afraid to ask questions and to think outside the box.

By looking at each scenario from as many angles as possible, gathering everyone’s input and keeping consistent lines of communication open, Deanna was able to help develop the best solutions for our agents, while keeping the needs of our clients top of mind.

Peggy - stars of belairdirect

Peggy was propelled into action when we began implementing financial relief measures for clients at the start of COVID-19.

To continue providing them with an exceptional experience, Peggy had a lot of work to do. Not to mention, her team grew dramatically in no time.

A team that is normally around 20 people expanded to more than 50 under Peggy’s leadership, consisting of temporary and permanent employees all working remotely to meet the many needs of the business. By making room for everyone on her team and providing them with support, training and time, Peggy helped her team rise to the challenge and excel with flying colours.

Through her human-first leadership, compassionate listening, and commendable efficiency, Peggy is making a difference for customers.He plays a key role by sharing his expertise and facilitating their integration. Shah - stars of belairdirect

Shah knows one of the ways to succeed as a team is resiliency.

He learned this firsthand by providing valuable support to his site when almost all of our employees shifted to working from home when COVID-19 hit.

He gained knowledge of the new environment and insight on ways to navigate the system. This enabled him to support his colleagues efficiently and help keep morale strong.

Despite being busy as a full-time student, Shah played an invaluable role in helping others adjust to the new reality at work, like a true team player.
